Bases
Bases support the bed. The stronger the base, the longer lasting the bed. Bases add to the comfort as well as come handy as storage spaces. The Raha range of bases come in both options: With storage room and without. And each option is available in a further range of upholstery choices and sizes. Any type of bed could be made available in any of the variants. Whatever your choice, you'll get the same Raha Commitment to quality

The foundation frame is constructed from high grade white wood and medium density fibre board 18mm thick. The frame is flat and square with all corners radiused to match the corner radii of the mattress. All wood has a minimum thickness of 25mm, securely stapled and glued for diagonal rigidity. Cross slats are used for reinforcement of the frame, while longitudinal slats are an exclusive option for Raha Queen beds. We offer a choice of Hard Top and Sprung Top bases.

Sprung Top : The spring unit comprises the Raha BounceBack Spring System, supported by the Raha CTC Shield and Raha EdgeSec Spring, while the insulation is taken care of by the Raha WonderWeb. Supreme, Majestic, Serenade and Sublime also come with RahaFelt.

A polyurethane foam layer of high density is secured on the top of the frame which acts as a support for the base spring unit and as a sound insulator. Comes in two variants: Sprung Edge and Firm Edge.

Hard Top : A 6mm MDF sheet is anchored on the top of the frame for reinforcement, rigidity and even load distribution. This forms the supporting base for the mattress.

Raha Drawers : When extra storage space is required, this comes handy. Drawers can be built in either on the side (right or left) or at the foot of the bed. The choice of placement should be indicated at the time of ordering. The drawers increase the height of the base by 5 cm. Drawer size: 80cm wide x 76 cm deep x 15 cm high. Storage space: 0.0912 cubic metres.

Narrow Diwan Bases : An additional option, these come with the same specifications as above and measure upto 14cm in height. Mounted on legs (height 14cm).

Split Diwan Bases : All larger divan bases (165 cm onwards) are supplied as twin single bases, split down the length of the base, locked together with linking bars for easy handling and transportation.

Dust Cover : A spunbonded polypropylene dust cover is placed at the bottom of the foundation frame and fastened.

Corner Guards These are made in plastic and are stapled to each corner, to protect the frame from corner tear and damage.

Base Support : Castors, glides, rug rollers, legs with castors and legs with glides can be provided for base support.

Headboards
Headboards add the pefect finish to the bed. They also serve as an opportunity to coordinate the bed with the decor around.

We can offer centre panels with fabric selections to complement the bedroom decor and the bed. Built with the same dedication to quality and perfection as our mattresses, our headboards are designed to please aesthetically and last long.
